How to get your Unity log (Steambirds: Alliance)

On Mac

  1. Exit the game. The log may not get fully written to unless you exit the game.
  2. The log should be here: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
  3. Email the "Player.log" file to support@spryfox.com

On Windows

  1. Exit the game. The log may not get fully written to unless you exit the game.
  2. Open your Steam application and switch to the Library view.
  3. Find Steambirds: Alliance in the list of games. Right-click it, then click Properties.

  4. Switch to the Local Files tab, then click Browse Local Files.

  5. This should open your Windows Explorer to the folder where the game is installed. Double-click the Steambirds_Data folder.

  6. The main file of interest is output_log.txt. If you see a crash.dmp or error.log file, these are of interest if their "Date modified" field is roughly the time you encountered the problem. Otherwise, they are not of interest.

  7. Email the files of interest to support@spryfox.com
